As an undergraduate student in Toronto, he witnessed firsthand how lawyers could be trusted guides during life's significant moments – whether helping first-time homeowners navigate their purchases or supporting families as they launched their dream businesses. Between his studies, Shidvash could often be found at the local pool, where he worked as a swim instructor and lifeguard.
